You can check out how far the virus has spread by looking at the Rockstar Games Social Club here.

The second announcement is that on Monday, 27th of October, Grand Theft Auto 4 will be patched with PS3 trophies. There will be 51 trophies total, and judging from the 4 revealed in the announcement, they will be the same as the Xbox 360 achievement list (plus the extra platinum trophy for unlocking the rest of the trophies), and trophies will not be retroactive, meaning that fulfilling any trophy requirements before the patch will NOT grant trophies when the patch is applied.
