July 9, 2008 · Filed Under Internet, Websites, Windows PC · Comment

Every week on Wednesday we’ll pick out a few random cool sites on the web. This week is the first edition… Enjoy!

iSketch
Similar to the game Pictionary, this free game site allows you to either guess what another player is drawing in realtime by typing in what you think the drawing is, or draw the given word yourself.

BBC Iplayer
Live in the UK? Watch the last 7 days of BBC programmes online right in your web browser, or download if you will be going offline for a while. Great if you forgot about a programme you wanted to watch earlier in the day or something.

Flash Earth
Flash earth is a map site which incorporates Google (edit-no longer available it seems), Microsoft, Yahoo, Ask & Nasa maps and more all together in to the single system allowing you to select different map images for the same location. Saves time visiting various sites to find a high quality aerial image.
