There’s no Rush for this weeks Rock Band DLC
As you may have noticed, TechMaze has been posting up each weeks Rock Band downloadable content songlists and prices (with future updates also featuring videos of each song). Tuesday should have seen the release of Rush’s “Moving Pictures’ album up in the Rock Band store, but due to “unforeseen technical difficulties” (with wild internet speculation being the lack of vocals in “YYZ” has caused the delay) it’s not been the case.
Over at the Rock Band forums, it’s been announced that it may take “several weeks” to fix the problem. Because of this, Harmonix is moving their release schedule around to fill the gap and have some tracks out this week, with news of what exactly to come in a later announcement.
In more positive news, Harmonix’s Dan Teasdale has posted up a developer blog detailing Rock Band 2’s new ‘tour challenge’ mode, which looks to be a welcome addition to the game. Now if only they could give a definitive release date for the UK…
