The Return of the Rumble?

Today at the Electronic Arts pre Tokyo Game Show press event, IGN reports the existence of a rumble sixaxis style controller for the PS3, rumbling to a demo of Burnout Paradise.

According to IGN the controller felt notably heavier compared to the standard Sixaxis, with a similar level of rumble to the PS2 Dualshock 2 controller.

A formal announcement is expected tomorrow at Kaz Hirai’s keynote address.
