Blueray/HD DVD dual format coming 2008

According to videobusiness.com Warner is going to delay its dual format HD disk “Total HD” to 2008, Warner was originally planning to release it in 2007.

The Total HD disk features HD DVD on one side and Blueray on the other, so for example a film could come on a disk in both formats, this would simplify purchasing movies for many, and I imagine would be useful for those with both format players.

It is not clear how much extra these disks would cost, I imagine that they would cost more then a single format alone.

The release date has not yet been announced.
